Designed to be flexible for either photographers just starting out
or experienced photographers improving their technical knowledge
and experience.
This popular workshop, for individuals or small groups, teaches
students the fundamental principals that lie at the heart of great
outdoor photography. The workshop covers the uses and functions of
digital SLR type cameras with tuition on metering & camera
modes, creative use of shutter speeds and apertures, choice of
focal lengths and lenses, creative composition and lighting and how
to be in the right place at the right time.
Professional outdoor photographer Dave Willis has over 25 years of
experience to share with you. During the day you'll learn some
professional ways of working, explore how to get the best out of
your kit and find ways of finding the best locations on the
hill.
Don’t worry - Dave Willis is the visiting lecturer in photography at Kendal College, Creative Arts Centre in the Lake District. He has taught 100’s of students, so he knows what he’s doing!
